After a few months of analyzing the preparedness field, to include prepper fame, disasters across America, governmental goals and financial resources, it became obvious that communication between organizations, (like FEMA and the Red Cross) and the general public is the underlying reason that about 70% of citizens and business are not prepared for disasters.
This is where, I believe, USA Emergency Broadcasting Network can do the most good. “Bridging the communication gap between preparedness organizations and the American public.” This is the mission statement for the Community Readiness Outreach Program.
